About me
Iām an industry-active UX leader, with a background in design, product, research and software development.
I am also a gamer, jigsaw puzzler and mother of two bunnies, to whom I give free rein of my place in London, UK.
Career
Currently, I direct Product Design for the Language Learning division at Pearson, one of the largest education company. I lead a team of 12 professionals, including product designers, service designers, UX researchers and writers.
Previously, I have successfully introduced and scaled the function of UX Research at Zego, InsureTech, where I led the design team through hypergrowth from a mere 3 people to a 16 people, multi-layered org.
I am also known for creating Volta, the first design system at Vonage back in 2018, and leading its adoption until it was integrated in all products globally.
Advocacy
Since confirming my autism in 2020, I am highly focussed on improving diversity awareness and practices in the tech and creative industries, speaking publicly on neurodiversity and how radical inclusivity in culture and creativity is a far more brilliant way for businesses to do things.
